What is “Project Senior”?

Several years ago, I met a family who was facing financial hardship and unable to afford Senior Photos for their child. As a photographer, I’ve always believed in the importance of capturing life’s milestones, especially the achievements of high school seniors. It broke my heart knowing that this child wouldn’t have professional photos to remember such a significant moment in their life. I knew I had to do something. That’s when I founded Project Senior—a program dedicated to ensuring that no high school senior misses out on this special experience because of financial limitations.

Project Senior is an ongoing initiative that accepts nominations and donations throughout the year. These funds help provide deserving seniors with professional photo sessions, outfits, and other essentials they may need to make their senior photoshoot special. The goal is simple: to give every senior the opportunity to have their accomplishment captured and celebrated, regardless of their financial situation.

If you feel called to make a difference, there are a few ways you can get involved. You can nominate a senior who could benefit from the program, or you can donate to help cover the costs of the sessions. Over the past 2 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to donate 12 full Senior photo sessions at no cost to families in need. Each session has been a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together as a community to help others. Through Project Senior, it’s my hope that no senior has to miss out on this important rite of passage because of financial struggles.
